ROBERT H. DEMLING M.D., is Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School and Director of the Burn-Trauma Center at Brigham Women's Hospital. He is a past president of the American Burn Association. He has researched and published extensively in the field of the inflammatory and metabolic response from burn injury and on the post burn wound healing process.

LESLIE DESANTI, R.N., is a burn nurse specialist at the Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston with 10 years of experience managing patients and teaching burn care. She is also Clinical Coordinator for the largest Burn Rehabilitation Program in New England and is a member of the American Burn Association Rehabilitation Committee. She has multiple publications in the field of burn care and wound healing.

DENNIS P. ORGILL, M.D., Ph.D.  is Assistant Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School and Associate Director of the Burn Unit at Brigham and Women's Hospital. He is Board Certified in both Surgery and Plastic Surgery. He specializes in Reconstructive Plastic Surgery and Surgical Care of Burn Patience. His major research interest is in the field of Tissue Engineering.
